NORTHERN VERMONT The Lakeview House Restaurant South Burlington Overlooking the beautiful Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains beyond, The Big House at Lakeview farmwas built by Lemuel S. Drew in the mid 1800s. This historic Victorian house was part of a 266 acre farm. Much of the interior decor is reminiscent of the past with a nod to the rustic settings found throughout Vermont, while catering to the modern tastes of our clientele. Our kitchen’s present day philosophy takes a note from the past. We use the freshest ingredients from as many local farmers as best we can while still maintaining a great price for our guest. One way we accomplish both of these is by going back to our roots by being our own farmer. Come in and enjoy a sunny afternoon on our patio and listen to some music while our chef picks fresh vegetables and spices from our adjacent garden to prepare in your meal. All of our food is prepared in house by our kitchen from scratch. It is in this spirit that we welcome your groups for lunch or dinner to our Big House. Dates of Operation: Monday, 3 pm10 pm. TuesdaySaturday, Noon10 pm Group Policy and Rates: Reservations suggested. Group menus available. Located adjacent to the Holiday Inn Express South Burlington.
